Supporter Website Giving Options

One of the common questions we receive from new Extend customers, especially those that are just opening a brand-new center, is, “What do we do about online donations?”

Established centers who come to Extend often have an online giving platform already in place and provide us with a link to their giving page or an embed code for a giving form to place on their supporter donation page. 

At Extend we want to make sure you understand the many facets of setting up your supporter website to make it as easy as possible for your donors to see how you serve your community and give to your work.

We have found that many centers who use outside giving platforms and provide the links I mentioned are able to set-up specific giving pages for their annual events and for capital campaigns. Extend will add the event or campaign to your website for you and then all you need to do is provide the link from your giving platform to the event donation or registration page. We then create a button that leads to that page for you. You are also able to have a general giving page with many of these giving platforms and provide us with the link or embed code to add to your donation page on your supporter website.

Another option outside of giving platforms for non-profit organizations that some centers choose to utilize is Paypal for their general giving. Centers using Paypal then provide a link to their Paypal giving page or a widget code to add the Paypal giving button to their donation page on their Extend supporter website.
