Holiday Closure Checklist
As the holidays are quickly approaching, there are often details that can fall through the cracks. Making sure your clients and donors know of any special hours you may have for the holidays is something we do not want to overlook. Here at Extend we can help make sure your clients and donors are aware of any changed hours or closures. Here’s a helpful list of some of the places you will want to make sure this important information is highlighted:
- Google My Business – be sure to let us know if you have Local Search with us and we will adjust your GMB accordingly.
- Yelp, if you use it
- Client and Supporter Websites – send us a support ticket and we can add this information to a pop-up, at the top of your website, or where your hours are listed on your website.
- Social Media
- Online appointment scheduler, if your center uses one (Next Level CMS, Ekyros, etc.) – be sure to block the appointment availability according to your adjusted hours/closures.
- Create a notice for the door to your center and post it a few days prior to any adjusted hours/closures.
